18 Fifteen Minute Programs

Objectives:

  1. To provide introductory and/or reinforcement programs developed from teacher-selected topics that are applicable to a wide range of secondary instructional levels.
  2. To develop an ITV resource for teaching of Biology in areas of need as identified by classroom teachers.

The series was produced in response to a needs- assessment completed by high school biology teachers. Programs were purposely planned so as to provide for maximum usage across ability levels. Production accents those techniques not easily accomplished in the classroom, with emphasis on the visualization of basic concepts.
