Chemistry Demonstrations and Animations I

1 Sixty Minute Program
Grade(s): 7-12
Curriculum Area: Science

This series is a selection of various experiments, demonstrations, and animated segments presenting and explaining various general and chemical concepts through demonstrations and animation. The tape presents demonstrations that might be too dangerous to conduct in the classroom, or require equipment not readily available in the typical science classroom. Animation is used to illustrate abstract concepts and to help explain what happens in the demonstrations. This would be an excellent video to download or block-feed at the beginning of the year to provide teachers with a valuable teaching aid that would provide access to many demonstrations as needed throughout the year.
