| The Developing Child I 10 Thirty Minute Programs
Grade(s): Sr High/Adult
Curriculum Area: Social Sciences/Health/ Family Living
The best way to show and teach child development is through
the children themselves. These videos do just that by depicting the children as they
"do" the activities and traits being discussed by the narrator. The thoroughly
researched development concepts are presented in a straight forward script on these
videos. The series covers infancy, early childhood and toddlerhood,
as well as nutrition and heredity. The titles of the individual programs are descriptive
of the content of the programs. Please note that all programs are self-contained and may
be used independently of other programs in the series. You may also
"pick-and-choose" programs from both series.
