formations in the humane treatment of animals. It will also help children learn to respect
animals in the wild and understand the responsibilities of a pet owner.

The Zoo:
Willie Wants a Pet 14:25
This program introduces Peggy and Willie while they are on a visit to the zoo. After
their visit Willie decides to ask Peggy for a pet of his very own. There is a great deal
that Willie must learn about pet and animal care before becoming a responsible owner.
Willie
Visits a Veterinarian 14:29
Peggy and Willie visit their community veterinarian. Dr. Tim explains how to keep pets
healthy.
Farm
Animals 14:21
Peggy and Willie visit their friend's farm and enjoy riding a horse and petting a
newborn calf. They also learn that not all animals make good pets.
The Pet
Store 14:23
Willie visits a pet store and realizes that there are many different kinds of pets
from the small and quiet to the large and sometimes noisy and that they all need attention
and care.

Classroom Pet 14:30
Would a skunk make a good pet? Willie's class would like a pet for their room. Viewers
learn some of the responsibilities involved in caring for a pet.
The Nature

Willie and Peggy learn some valuable lessons on respecting the lives and homes of
animals in the wild.
