Language 26 Variable Length Programs (16 –
40 min) This series is designed to support the development of an ESO/Bilingual Tutoring Program in school districts that are limited in trained personnel and financial resources and have relatively small numbers of limited English proficiency students dispersed throughout the district. These videos are also appropriate for a number of other audiences and applications. While some tapes are appropriate for general viewing, many would be helpful to school administrators, regular classroom teachers who have students with limited English proficiency, or anyone who teaches a foreign language. The three tapes, for example, that teach the P - rating process for assessing oral language and listening comprehension have application in the entire second-language-teaching field. The series includes several categories, which may be purchased individually or as a set. Each tape includes programs that describe its purpose, content, vocabulary, follow-up activities, and other helpful information. These programs can be effectively used in any community. Programs:
