All five programs follow the adventures of a bumbling yet likable detective named the Kidd and his sharp-witted assistant, K.C. - the kid in the computer. The Kidd's activities always lead to acitivites in your classroom which will require skills in math, science, reading and writing. The series was developed to help 4th graders pass the Ohio Proficiency Test.

Program Titles:

  1. Campaign Kidd (14:34)
    The Kidd is asked to invrestigate the qualifications of three candidates for state representative. He doesn't know what a state representative does, let alone how to research and evaluate qualifications. K.C. asks the Kidd Crew to help.

  2. Kidd and the Contest (14:30)
    The Kidd is selected to appear in a TV quiz show called "Math Mania" in which he must take on long-time champion, The Professor. Unfortunately, the Kidd doesn't know a lot about math. K.C. asks the Kidd Crew to help The Kidd meet the challenge.

  3. Write on Kidd (14:30)
    World Renowned adventure/mystery writer Melvin Tischman has abondoned his current novel, for which hae received a large advance. The Tischman clan approached the Kidd to see if he can finish the story. K.C. invites the Kidd Crew to inish the story too.

  4. Space Cadet Kidd (14:30)
    A famous movie director hires the Kidd and K.C. to do research for his new science fiction film. They conduct research to find out how the solar system works. The Kidd forgets to take notes am can't remember what he has learned. The Kidd Crew is asked to do the research.

  5. Kidd's Treasure (14:30)
    The Kidd's eccentric Uncle Elmo gives him a map to a lost treasure. Wouldn't you know it -- The Kidd messes up the map and can't remember where the treasure is hidden. The Kidds Crew is called to action.
