15 Fifteen Minute Programs

Objectives:

  1. To introduce, reinforce, and review concepts and skills that have been identified by standardized testing and teacher involvement as topics that require additional concentration.
  2. To serve as remedial material for pupils working below grade level.

MATH LAB VII is a continuation of elementary/ middle school mathematics modules, and is intended for instructional levels 4-8. These programs are an additional resource in the instruction of mathematics. Several topics have been identified as deficient areas of achievement utilizing workshop teams, teacher feedback, and standardized test results. Each lesson takes the viewer outside the classroom to consider a theme and to emphasize the application of mathematics to everyday life. The teacher guide, in addition to the usual features -- lesson objectives, lesson summary, pre and post activities -- also contains a student worksheet for each lesson.
