Objectives:

  1. To provide information pertaining to nutrition education for teachers.
  2. To motivate teachers to include nutrition information in they’re teaching program.

NUTRITION MISSION is an in-service nutrition education course for elementary schoolteachers that use videotapes to present the content. Four video programs, each featuring John Burstein as the host, are interspersed with questions and answer segments. The total in-service program is designed for a three hour time period, but could be "broken" into several shorter periods.

The total package consists of four videotape programs, the workshop leader guide, and a copy of the-participant guide.
