Objectives:

1. To prepare patients for their operation.

The program emphasizes the patient and his/her reactions to all aspects of pre and post-operative processes. Patient education information is presented throughout the program in an effort to inform the patient about what will happen and why. This is done to "put" the patient at ease.

The program can be used with individual patients or groups of patients. The program is self-contained and can be used on any in-house television system.
