S.O.S Secrets of Sherlock

The programs revolve around the star of the show, and adventuresome beagle named Sherlock. Sherlock's funny adventures serve as the starting point of a variety of problem-solving activities. Students will use math, science, reading and writing skills to solve Sherlock's adventure/problems.

Programs

  1. Travel Tracks (14:38)
    Sherlock is on a world tour, and his owner, Mandy, caril locate him. She calls on the S.O.S. trackers to help her. Students will complete a series of logic problems to find Sherlock.

  2. Food is my Life (14:30)
    When Sherlock writes a book about his favorite subject Ws anything but a best seller. Sherlock asks the S.O.S. Trackers to find out what kind of book will be successful, based on their research.

  3. On the Right Track (14:30)
    After an adventure with Harriet Tubman on the Underground Railroad, Sherlock asks the S.O.S Trackers to create a gameboard that will teach others how 19th-century slaves in the U.S. South escaped to the North.

  4. Grinny's Danger (14:33)
    Sherlock befriends a peregrine falcon and learns about endangered plants and animals. He asks the S.O.S. trackers to create a safe environment for his now friends.

  5. Mighty Bikes (14:38)
    Misled by a TV ad about dog biscuits, Sherlock asks the S.O.S. Trackers to find out how commercials work so that others won't be fooled.
