Objectives:

1. To provide students with the concepts and understanding of sexual abuse.
2. To provide students with some specific techniques and skills that may help them avoid or escape unsafe situations.
3. To encourage students to talk with their parents or another trusted adult if they have experienced any form of sexual abuse.
4. To introduce the concept that if they have been sexually abused it is not their fault.

The series was designed to present the information pertaining to sexual abuse in such a way that students will be able to understand and identify with the students on the screen. The underlying principle of the series is that students who are educated about sexual abuse and how to discuss it are less likely to be victims. The programs contain elementary school children discussing and portraying the various concepts introduced and explained in the programs.
