"Teaching Writing In The Classroom" is best used as a follow up to a group in service program on teaching writing in the classroom work-shop. These tapes can also be used in small peer groups of teachers and administrators. Students in integrated language arts classrooms learn the skills of reading writing, listening, and speaking concurrently through realistic learning experiences, You will be able to coordinate the student's activities of reading poems, short stories, etc. Then write about the stories they read. Then with your guidance the student will hopefully appreciate an assortment of different types of literature.
